   bstart         file          * Legacy file: Starts SAM.  Use: set and
                                export sam_set_version and
                                sam_temp_base, then "~/bstart". 
                                Superceded by $sam_root/bstart.

   changlog.txt   file          Current change log file.

   data           directory     Contains copyright and contact info.

   example        link          Application Module: Examples of SAM use.

   go             directory     Contains files to configure and make SAM go.

   tips           directory     * Legacy dir: Contains helpful files and
                                tips.  Superceded by b-files dir at
                                $sam_root.

   tool           link          Application Module: Tools for use in SAM.


* Legacy means that this is something old and is not useful except for
reference.
